Hotaru について

Hotaru は、ライブ・イベント会場で Android スマートフォンを擬似ペンライトとして使うためのユーティリティです。16 色のプリセットから色を選んで画面全体を発光させたり、推しの名前やメッセージを表示したりできます。

使い方

• 点灯する：ホーム画面で色と表示スタイル（全画面／ペンライト）を選び、「点灯する」をタップします。
• 表示テキスト：アーティスト名やメッセージを光の上に表示できます（全画面・ペンライトどちらでも）。縦書き・横書きを選べ、長い文字は「流す」か「固定」を選べます。
• 点灯中の操作：画面をタップすると操作パネルが表示され、前後の色への切り替えや表示テキストの編集ができます。左右スワイプでも色を変えられます。
• 電光掲示板：端末を横向きにすると、LED 電光掲示板表示になります。「流す」なら文字が右から左へ流れ、「固定」なら画面内に収めて表示します。
• 明るさ・外観：「設定」タブの「明るさ」で輝度上限（デフォルト 80%）、「外観」でシステム／ライト／ダークを変更できます。

動作環境

• Android 8.0（API レベル 26）以上のスマートフォン

よくあるお問い合わせ

Q. 発光中に画面が勝手に暗くなります。 A. 点灯している間は輝度を上限値に固定しますが、端末の自動明るさ調整や省電力モードによって暗くなることがあります。端末側の自動明るさをオフにするか、「設定」タブの「明るさ」にある「輝度上限」を調整してください。

Q. 横向きにすると表示が変わります。 A. 仕様です。端末を横向きにすると、文字が右から左へ流れる LED 電光掲示板表示に切り替わります。スタジアムやフェスなど、遠くからでも読みやすい表示です。文字を流すか固定するかは、表示テキストの「長い文字の表示」で選べます。

Q. 推しの名前を表示したい。 A. ホーム画面の「表示テキスト」、または点灯中の操作パネルの編集アイコンから入力してください。縦書き・横書きを切り替えられ、絵文字にも対応しています。

Q. 長い文字が流れずに小さく表示されます。 A. 表示テキストの「長い文字の表示」が「固定」になっています。「流す」を選ぶと、文字が流れて表示されます。

Q. 安全に使うために気をつけることは？ A. 必ずストラップ等の落下防止装置を装着し、手首に通してご使用ください。会場のルールを確認し、スマートフォンの使用が禁止されている場合はご利用にならないでください。

About Hotaru

Hotaru is a utility for using your Android smartphone as a pen-light at concerts and events. Pick one of 16 preset colors to light up the whole screen, or display your favorite's name or a message.

How to Use

• Light up: On the home screen, pick a color and a display style (Full screen or Penlight), then tap "Light up."
• Display text: Show an artist name or a message over the light, in both Full screen and Penlight styles. Choose vertical or horizontal text, and "Scroll" or "Fixed" for long text.
• While lit: Tap the screen to show the controls, where you can switch to the previous or next color and edit the display text. You can also swipe left or right to change colors.
• LED ticker: Turn your phone sideways for an LED ticker. With "Scroll," the text moves right to left; with "Fixed," it is fitted on the screen.
• Brightness & appearance: On the Settings tab, adjust the brightness limit under Brightness (default 80%) and choose System, Light, or Dark under Appearance.

FAQ

Q. The screen dims by itself while lit. A. While lit, Hotaru locks the brightness at the limit value, but your device's auto-brightness or battery saver may still dim it. Turn off auto-brightness on your device, or adjust "Brightness limit" under Brightness on the Settings tab.

Q. The display changes when I rotate the phone. A. This is by design. In landscape, the text switches to a scrolling LED ticker (right to left) — easy to read from afar at stadiums and festivals. You can choose "Scroll" or "Fixed" under "Long text display" in the display text settings.

Q. I want to show my favorite's name. A. Enter it from "Display text" on the home screen, or from the edit icon in the controls while lit. You can switch between vertical and horizontal text, and emoji are supported.

Q. Long text looks small instead of scrolling. A. "Long text display" in the display text settings is set to "Fixed." Choose "Scroll" to make the text scroll.

Q. What should I keep in mind for safe use? A. Always attach a drop-prevention device such as a strap and keep it around your wrist. Confirm the venue's rules and refrain from use where smartphones are prohibited.
