Hotaru について

Hotaru は、ライブ・イベント会場で iPhone や Apple Watch を擬似ペンライトとして使うためのユーティリティです。Apple Watch のデジタルクラウンを回すだけで色を切り替えられ、公演中にスマートフォンを取り出さずに操作が完結します。

使い方

iPhone：カラーグリッドから色を選び、「全画面で発光する」をタップします。
Apple Watch：デジタルクラウンを回すと色が循環します。画面シングルタップで点灯、ダブルタップで消灯。長押しでも消灯できます。
ヒント表示：Apple Watch の画面下から上にスワイプすると、操作ヒントが表示されます。
輝度調整：iPhone の「設定」タブで輝度上限を変更できます（デフォルト 80%）。

動作環境

iOS 17.0 以上の iPhone
watchOS 10.0 以上の Apple Watch（iPhone とペアリング済みであること）

よくあるお問い合わせ

Q. Apple Watch だけで使えますか？ A. はい。プリセット色の操作は Apple Watch 単体で完結します。事前に iPhone とのペアリングが必要です。

Q. 腕を下げたら画面が消えてしまいます。 A. Hotaru は通常より長く画面を点灯し続ける専用モードで発光を維持していますが、watchOS の自動輝度調整によって画面が暗くなることがあります。手首を顔の方に傾ければ、通常の明るさに戻ります。

Q. 輝度が会場で勝手に変わります。 A. iPhone の「全画面で発光する」モードでは輝度をロックしています。発動中はコントロールセンターから輝度を変えても固定値に書き戻されます。設定タブの「輝度上限」で固定値を調整してください。

Q. 安全に使うために気をつけることは？ A. 必ずストラップ等の落下防止装置を装着し、手首に通してご使用ください。会場のルールを確認し、スマートフォンの使用が禁止されている場合はご利用にならないでください。

About Hotaru

Hotaru is a utility for using your iPhone and Apple Watch as a pen-light at concerts and events. Rotate the Apple Watch's Digital Crown to cycle colors—you can complete every action without pulling your phone out during a performance.

How to Use

iPhone: Pick a color from the grid and tap "Light up."
Apple Watch: Rotate the Digital Crown to cycle colors. Single-tap to turn the light on; double-tap to turn it off. A long press also turns it off.
Hint sheet: Swipe up from the bottom of the Apple Watch screen to display gesture hints.
Brightness: Adjust the brightness limit on the iPhone Settings tab (default 80%).

iPhone with iOS 17.0 or later
Apple Watch with watchOS 10.0 or later (paired with the iPhone)

FAQ

Q. Can I use it with only the Apple Watch? A. Yes. Preset color operations work fully on the Apple Watch alone. Initial pairing with the iPhone is required.

Q. The screen turns off when I lower my arm. A. Hotaru uses a long-duration display mode to keep the screen lit, but watchOS may dim the display via automatic brightness. Tilt your wrist toward your face to restore normal brightness.

Q. The brightness changes by itself in the venue. A. The iPhone "Light up" mode locks the brightness. While active, any change made via Control Center will be overwritten back to the locked value. Adjust the locked value via "Brightness limit" on the Settings tab.

Q. What should I keep in mind for safe use? A. Always attach a drop-prevention device such as a strap and keep it around your wrist. Confirm the venue's rules and refrain from use where smartphones are prohibited.
